I've been using Moodle for the past 2 months and think it's great. I teach for a small community college in Georgia that doesn't use Blackboard and has never heard of Moodle until very recently. We are in the process of offering Hybrid courses to our students and Moodle fits the bill perfectly - especially the price. My problem is that our IT folks are not convinced. We use a database system called Datatel for sudent registration and IT is concerned about Moodle being able to communicate or import/export to Datatel.
I'm hoping to find someone/school who is using Moodle with Datatel and can share with us their lessons learned/problems/concerns - etc...
If you're not using Datatel, I'd still be interested in how well Moodle works with any student registration system/database.
