Enrolment

I was getting this error:

" This account has not been given the permission(s) required for this request. "

I looked into it, and apparently sometime in 2006, as a means of increasing security, Authorize.net prohibited logging in with your password and userid to authenticate your merchant account.

Currently, the best (only?) way to authenticate is to use the combination of the "API Login Key" and the "Transaction Key".

Fortunately, even though the authorize.net enrolment module's instructions tell you to use your login ID, you can still supply your API Login Key instead and it will work.

Just a pointer for those of you getting this cryptic error message. Hope this helps!
