Hi,

Students register themselves into our courses via an enrolment key.  This works well for us but we don't give faculty edit access to the course settings area so the enrolment key is rarely updated.

Is it possible to create an enrolment key block that can be added to the course page visible only to faculty assigned to the course?  The block would list the current enrolment key (the key is masked on the settings page) and an input field allowing faculty to change the key whenever he or she sees fit?

If there was a way to mass update enrolment keys at the end of each term and somehow notify faculty of the new key assignments, I would be open to this as well.

Hi,
I am a little over my head here. But did you see the Bulk course upload plugin?
Some of the off site documentation says "any field in course settings". From other posts I am not sure you can use this to overwrite existing courses. There is also at least 1 tracker on this topic as a Moodle standard improvement.
