I have a very similar setup using mandrake 10, apache2 and postgresql 7.4.1.

I had no problem installing moodle 1.31, but I haven't tried 1.32

I don't think the postgres installs are as well tested as the mysql are, since mysql is far more popular (and much easier to get running on msw boxen).

I am currently using the cvs version and encountered a syntax error in one of the postgres7.sql files.

Try just scanning through the sql of workshop in:

/var/www/html/olcec/mod/workshop/db/postgres7.sql

(or similar path on your system) looking for syntax errors.

It's prolly boring as sin translating all the mysql scripts for postgres and the lads just miss some syntax here and there. I hope to lend a hand after I get this project set up and learn more.
