Here's what I said on Amazon:
I was one of the technical reviewers for this book (Mary Cooch @moodlefairy was the other). Before the book was completed, I was referring fellow Moodlers in my organization to some of the extensions I had just read about. I was comfortable doing this not only because the extensions could clearly solve a problem but also because the prose is cleanly written and easy to understand. Non-techie teachers will find this book easy to read.

Be warned, however, that you will need administrative access (or a friendly Moodle administrator) to use most of these extensions. Of course, the ease of installing extensions is why the "M" in "Moodle" stands for "Modular." They drop right in, and you're in business. Enjoy!
