Education Technologist

Regular, Full-time Cranbrook Campus

Duties: Reporting to the Dean Innovation and Learning this this position provides tier 1, 2 and 3 technical supports for the college LMS, as well as technical training and support for COTR students, faculty, and staff in the application of online and other educational technology. This position also provides pedagogic, logistical, and administrative support and advice to staff and faculty developing and delivering online and blended learning courses. These positions are essential to the development of digital literacy at the college through the training, coaching, and mentoring of faculty and students. These roles are mission critical in maintaining access to the LMS software for students and faculty and supporting the College's strategic and academic plans for continuous quality improvement, increased student success, enhancing the learning and working environment and the adoption of 21st century learning skills and practices. This position is not a remote work opportunity.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Technology, Instructional technology, Information Technology, Computer Science with Web design or related fields. It is essential that you have two to three years working with learning management systems, technical support/help desk experience and technical writing for internet applications. One or more years supporting students and faculty in the Moodle learning management system and providing training for adult learners is desirable.

Salary: CUPE Pay Level 5 $43,145.07 The College also offers a comprehensive range of benefits.
