My Learning Space is a certified Premium Moodle Partner, located in Australia. We have an opportunity for a PHP Developer / Technical Consultant to join our team. This role may involve occasional local and interstate travel. Meetings will also be required via web conference. You are an excellent communicator, highly organised and familiar with developing practical solutions to complex technical requirements. Responsibilities

  • System integrations
  • Building custom plugins
  • Document, maintain and support customisations and integrations
  • Scoping technical feasibility and reporting back to client
  • Functional and technical specification writing for proposals

Experience, skills and knowledge

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience coding PHP
  • Demonstrated experience working with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
  • Proficiency with Linux command line interface
  • Working knowledge of Moodle software
  • Ability to work autonomously in a telework environment
  • A commitment to open source
