You have a strong client focus, are proficient with Linux and know Moodle inside-out. Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, maintain and monitor our cloud infrastructure
  • Implement processes to maximise service levels and operational efficiency
  • Perform Moodle software installations, upgrades and data migrations
  • Provide support to clients via our web-based portal
  • Respond to a broad range of Moodle-related queries and issues
  • Work with clients through to resolution
  • Add articles to knowledge base, including FAQs and solutions as appropriate

Experience, skills and knowledge

  • Minimum 5 years experience working with Moodle
  • Demonstrated experience with major cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency with Linux operating systems
  • Proficiency with database administration including MySQL, PostgreSQL and MSSQL
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a telework environment
  • A commitment to open source
