Join a Google award winning Irish startup as a PHP Web Developer.  Remote or at our Kilkenny office.  Start out on a contract or freelance basis with the option to join full or part time.

We’re looking for an experienced Moodle administrator with development experience. We are a scaling Irish startup, fully funded and based in Kilkenny, Ireland. This is an exciting time to join the company as we are on a significant growth trajectory, with a growing order book from enterprise clients in the state and semi-state sectors.

Technical abilities:
  • Experience and enthusiasm for major PHP content management systems such as Moodle, Drupal or WordPress

  • Enthusiasm for test driven development using tools like phpUnit

  • Enthusiasm for Linux and open source software

  • Proficient using package managers like Composer and NPM  

  • Proficient with Git version control

  • Proficient with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL

  • Experience with at least one major PHP MVC Framework

  • Familiarity with API development

  • Experience with Docker

  • Familiarity with CI/CD

  • Enthusiasm for modern JavaScript
