Learner Management System Administration

·         Serves as LMS Support for the organisation

·         Provides Tier 2 support for Student Support team

·         Management of semester events on the LMS

·         Management of academic specific training, learning activities and assessment training in the Moodle-Based LMS.

·         Creates and analyses LMS report data and liaise with Programme Managers.

·         Conducts regular quality control of all existing facets of the LMS platform per semester

·         Online Tutorial scheduling and support.

·         Maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security and integrity of the LMS

·         Other day-today LMS related duties as assigned

·         Assign and create Tutor specific support and role administration

 

Online Learner Management System assessment set-up, maintenance and operational aspects (pre- and post-build assessment)

·         Provides, manage and schedule assessment quality control of all facets of the online assessments within the LMS platform (pre- and post-build)

·         Schedule and manage assessment setting-  and assessment marking training sessions on LMS for relevant academic staff

·         Design and deliver assessment completion training interventions and how-to-guides on LMS for all students.

·         Create, manage and update playbooks and other collateral to document and communicate LMS assessment processes and best practices.

·         Responsible for the day-to-day technical management and student support of assessments queries on the LMS to ensure seamless execution.

·         Monitor LMS assessments progress in terms of setting, correctness of how-to-guides, completion by students, grading by lecturers / markers.

·         Collaborate with Content Developers and LMS vendors to maintain and administer correct application of assessment tools on the LMS system, i.e. Respondus 4.0, Turnitin, etc.

·         Administer usage and analysis of the LMS by all Academic Associates and students.

·         Responsible for the day-to-day management of LMS to ensure seamless execution to serve learning needs.

·         Monitor LMS enrolments per module and liaise with Programme Managers.

LMS Support

·         Provides LMS support in terms of general queries from Students, Lecturers, Tutors and other staff
