Job Summary

This position is responsible for the development of web and mobile app based software applications, databases and supports other miscellaneous software development efforts as needed by Traliant LLC.   The software engineer’s responsibilities include software design, software development and integration.

 Responsibilities

·         Design and develop web applications that function in a commercial environment.

·         Software design, software development and integration

·         Participate in all aspects of the application development life cycle

·         Create clear and accurate technical documentation

·         Provide project time estimates and regular status to project stakeholders.

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills

·         Effective time management skills

·         Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative work environment.

·         Strong discipline of accountability and task management

 Required Skills and Experience

  • Solid design and coding skills in PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Laravel
  • Extensive experience developing stateless web applications, RESTful JSON APIs
  • Experience with a Moodle LMS. SCORM and AICC
  • Experience with AWS environments and SDKs including EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudfront and SES
  • Understanding of source control practices with Git
  • Cloud operation and Cloud Architecture experience
  • Experience with databases, including working knowledge of MS SQL
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Understanding of Web and Cloud security and performance
  • Excellent communication skills
