Moodle jobs

A large reputed education society with a long-term Moodle development agenda is looking for a Senior Moodle Developer to anchor its team. This is part of a technology innovation team that is at the cutting edge of development, education pedagogy and cloud computing. 

Role would include:

1) Helping create the development and hosting strategy for a large Moodle install base (45000+ students and expanding).

2) Creating and updating of plugins to extend Moodle's functionality. 

3) Pushing plug-in functionality into the Moodle Mobile Application. 

4) Integration of Moodle to with other organizational systems and open source software. 

5) Work on other exciting open-source projects and technologies. 

6) Work directly with users at all levels to come up with novel uses of Moodle. 

7) Optional: Help integrate Moodle into a truly cloud power technology, taking advantage of AWS S3, ElastiCache, CloudCDN, SNS, etc. 

This is a long-term job for someone who wants to grow with the organization and do high quality work. We appreciate and recognize excellence in coding, architecture, and documentation. 

The ideal candidate would have a strong history of Moodle development, expertise in PHP and Cordova. While we prefer candidates from top tier schools (IIT, etc.) demonstrated expertise through projects and hacker rankings is always welcome.
