An opportunity exists within the Education Enhancement section of the
University of Strathclyde
for a Moodle Developer, to work on an innovative project to transform the
processes and systems for managing assessment marks within the Myplace
Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and the new Student Information
Management System (SIMS).
The candidate should be an experienced Moodle developer, with strong
design experience and both front-end and back-end coding skills, to join
an experienced Moodle development team. The candidate must demonstrate a
working knowledge of the Moodle application and development frameworks,
unit testing and database design skills.
You must be highly self-motivated, thrive within an environment where
there are evolving working practices and be keen to contribute
innovative ideas and solutions. You will work well both as part of a
team and on your own initiative and in return you will be given the
opportunity to shape this complex and ambitious change to the
University's teaching and learning environment.
