Overall responsibilities

To support and promote the development and use of learning and information technologies across Bedford College. A major aspect of the post will be the design and development of enterprise-level software applications to support teaching, learning and assessment. These will mainly take the form of modular extensions to the Moodle virtual learning environment.

Additional responsibilities will include administration and user support activities relating to the VLE and web/internet (SharePoint 2010) and supporting the use of classroom technologies including interactive displays and tablets. The post will be based within the college’s Learning Technologies Team.
