Job offered: Moodle System Administrator/Technician

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, USA

We require an experienced Moodle Technician to assist us in an ongoing project in Nashville USA.

We estimate that the Moodle System Administrator/Technician will be required for approximately two months which in the initial implementation stage.

The project requires an individual with the following skills and experience

Essential experience:

  • Experienced in hosting Moodle in enterprise level environments

  • Able to produce detail functional and technical designs for enterprise Moodle implementation

  • Configure LAMP stack for large scale distributions

  • Experienced in distributing rich-media over challenging low bandwidth networks

  • Experienced in monitoring production systems, ideally using nagios

  • Experience with nationwide Moodle rollout across 200+ locations

Desirable experience:

  • Previous experience of Omni-cast or other multi-cast system

  • Previous experience of MSSQL (Microsoft SQL Server)
