Galen College of Nursing is currently searching for an LMS Administrator to configure, maintain and administer Galen’s Moodle system which is used for internal training purposes and for servicing special projects. The LMS Administrator will work primarily with a Moodle LMS, but may at times work with additional LMS’s or other web systems as assigned. The LMS Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting all Moodle accounts, courses and LMS management.
Some responsibilities include course creation, account creation, and user enrollment; managing all landing page content, modules, and plug-ins; managing the course and content backup process to ensure disaster recovery policies are designed and followed; providing guidance and support to other departments to help manage and track internal training initiatives and special projects; preparing weekly, monthly, and annual reports as directed; assisting in the implementation of the evaluation process for online training and education; and performing system upgrades to maintain competency with current versions of LMS.
