£34,767 - £40,297 per annum

Developer of Moodle / Project Manager – Go from programming to leading the programme

This new role is critical to our students achieving their full potential, and you will drive this high profile project use your technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the project runs efficiently.  You will work closely with the IT team amongst other key stakeholders, but will have a high degree of autonomy within your role.

 

If you’re interested, here are the key objectives for the role:

 

  • Your initial task will be to prepare a proposal for the implementation of a new VLE system which meets the College requirements.
  • You will then develop and implement the agreed VLE system, and will train others in the use of this system.
  • Longer term you will become involved in additional development projects covering a variety of web based applications. 

 

We’re looking for someone who has an excellent technical understanding of systems such as Moodle, PHP, MySQL, Apache, IIS, Microsoft SQL, SharePoint, ASP, ASPX, CMS Systems and has previously undertaken projects similar to our key objectives in this role. 

 

Project management will be a key part of this role, and this will be the ideal environment in which to develop these skills.
