Job offered: Moodle (VLE) Applications Developer

We are looking for an experienced Moodle Developer to help drive the development of the College's VLE services and to develop close integration with existing systems. You will have a proven track record in delivering and administering Moodle solutions for a virtual learning environment.

The ability to create co-operative and productive partnerships with clients and stakeholders, to focus on the user experience, user interface design, consistency, accessibility, usability layout, to deliver solutions in line with the College LMS strategy is essential for this role.

Your understanding of various Moodle modules will enable you to develop and administer:

Moodle activities (chats, forums, uploading user files); Question tagging and Pulling; Conditional Release; System Permissions and settings and configuration, Installation and configuration of plugins and modules, Block set up My Courses / Courses Link; Exposure of User interface design of Moodle Themes and learning objects. The integration of various media including video, audio, social media that are supported by Moodle.

A good knowledge of HTML , PHP, MYSQL and CSS is essential to be successful in this role.
