Job offered: Freelance module developer needed to re-code ‘graduation manager’

Type: Contract
Location: telecommute

PHP developers at Wales’s Deanery have built a graduation manager module for Moodle 1.9.x . The main features of the module are that it allows a number of activities and pass rates to be set. The module then produces a list of all those who have met the set conditions and allows a CSV file to be generated and downloaded. It also provides a list of all those who have not met the conditions and generates an email form for contacting them. There are some other features built into it like filtering by GMC number (collected via another module) and setting an expiry date for the qualification prior to export. The module works well with fewer than 350 - 400 learners on a course. Unfortunately we have courses that contain over 400 learners and may exceed 2000 in the future.

Our PHP/Moodle developer has unfortunately been reassigned to non Moodle projects and we are looking for an experienced Moodle developer to take over development. We are not overly concerned with how long the module takes to produce results as long as it is obvious that progress is being made and accurate results are returned.

The current module code, output samples and a detailed specification are all available at;

If you feel you can complete the development of this module to the standards outlined in the detailed specification then please contact us with your CV, a timescale, and your quote.

Also feel free to ask any questions via the same address.
