Moodle/eLearning Content Developer

 

Duties:

·         Working with internal resources, develop a Moodle platform to replace our existing LMS solution that ends at end of next year (We have a good amount of time to develop the platform, so we want to bring this position on early to start on it)

·         Manage all eLearning, online, and print training content

·         Manage our existing eLearning/LMS platform (Blackboard)

·         Interact with Training staff, Subject Matter Experts, Compliance Department, and Senior leaders in the development and editing of content

·         Design and develop cutting-edge eLearning modules, interactions, and simulations using content provided to you by the Training Staff

·         Utilize multiple tools to generate exciting and industry leading content

·         Manage all phases of content editing, design, ‘look and feel’, and storage

·         Bring new ideas in the areas of content design, content management, and eLearning/multimedia tool usage

·         Work with Training Team and all Subject Matter Experts to keep all content updated and compliant

 

Looking For:

·         Creative and ‘thinking out of the box’ professional

·         Someone looking to add excitement, energy, and an artistic look to existing and new content/logo/branding

·         Someone able to handle a fast-paced, high-octane, but very fun work environment

·         Someone interested to truly build an eLearning University from scratch and put their signature on it

·         Someone with strong Moodle experience and able to build a corporate environment with Moodle and not the more common secondary education ‘look and feel’

·         Someone who is willing to work extremely hard, but who enjoys the results of this work and is able to have fun doing so.

·         Someone who is a team player. No EGOs allowed.

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Creative/Multimedia or equivalent experience

·         2 plus years in a content design, management, or editing role

·         2 plus years in a creative/multimedia role

·         Required: Moodle, PHP, HTML, Flash, and Powerpoint expert

·         Highly Preferred: Articulate, Captivate, Photoshop

·         SCORM/AICC experience

 

 

Location:

·         Ideally looking for someone in the Philadelphia or Atlanta area. However, we are open to hiring a remote employee to find the best candidate. Must be US-based though.

 

 

Requirements:

·         All candidates will be asked to provide samples of their work in Moodle and any content development. All candidates will be tested to determine if they know the above-mentioned tools, so please only serious applicants apply.
