Job offered: Moodle Analytics Expert

Type: Full-time
Location: Brighton, UK

We are seeking a knowledgeable, skilled and enthusiastic person to provide us with consultancy and implementation services on reporting features in Moodle.

We are initiating a project around analytics and would like someone to work with a project and development team to advise on how best to optimise this area which meets the needs of four user groups: students, tutors, course designers, administrative staff and management.  The team has a remit to develop and deliver a suite of online programmes, beginning with a Global Online MBA for Newcastle University, online teacher training courses for NILE, and online English modules for existing INTO students.

You ideally will have expert and hands-on working knowledge of reporting features and advise how this can be best used and implemented for a variety of needs and programmes. You will have the skills to ask the project team members and stakeholders all the right questions and draw out our business needs and propose a solution.

We are looking initially for consultancy and then be hands on and help us implement the features.

The work will be on a rolling monthly contract basis, and will extend each month depending on scope and suitability. It is to start as soon as possible.

If you're interested, then please get in contact with a summary of similar work in this area you may have done for other organisations. We will also require references of this work. Email your details to Dave Wedge at

If you do not have substantial experience in consultancy and implementation in this area, please do not contact us.
