Job offered: Moodle-savvy PLE-PDE Project Program Manager for MSF (Doctors Without Borders)
MSF OCBA is embarking on a project of design, development and
integration of Personal Learning Environment (PLE).
For the last 7 years MSF has been delivering online learning to its
staff through the MSF eCampus Service. This service mainly deliver
online courses in different modalities: cooperative learning courses,
self-learning courses, blended learning, etc. In order to meet current
organization learning challenges MSF OCBA is going a steps beyond in its
approach to learning, hence, the PLE project. In the preliminary phase of the project, a feasibility study was carried
out, functional and technical requirements defined and an (existing)
system solution identified.
The project is now entering the
implementation phase aiming at realizing the solution and deploying it
in different scenarios: Field and HQ.
Whilst working with a small team, the Project Manager will devise and
lead the PLE project for the design of learning processes and is
responsible for ensuring the adaptation of the selected system or
systems and roll out across the MSF OCBA scenarios in full compliance
with requirements processes. The project manager will be overall
responsible for achievement of the deliverables within time and budget.
This is a challenging position within a stimulating environment in a
major international organization.
Essential criteria include: "Experience with Moodle or similar learning environments"
PS: This is a project that's very near and dear to my heart and I hope to work with the person who is hired. I presented about it last year at ePIC 2015 - here's the deck:
