British Pharmacological Society – Learning Technologist
The British Pharmacological Society is seeking an experienced Learning Technologist to drive and support the technical development of a range of leading edge assessment and e-learning products.
This new, full-time role will be dedicated almost entirely to supporting the Society’s new start-up, BPS Assessment Ltd (BPSA). Working with the BPSA team, its consultants, clients and the broader Society, you will be asked to build and project manage our developing e-learning portfolio, from requirements gathering and concept generation through to deployment, ensuring all developments are on schedule and within budget and identifying and managing any technical risks.
You will be an experienced, self-starting, results-oriented learning technology specialist or instructional designer, with an existing interest in the latest e-learning and e-assessment technologies, and a desire to broaden your horizons. You will have demonstrable, high-level experience with key technologies such as Moodle, a knowledge of e-learning best practice and compliance, and a track record of supporting internal and external clients with the highest standards of customer service.
The British Pharmacological Society’s Learning Technologist will be ‘hands on’ in project delivery, client support, sales support and in online educational innovation. The position will suit a candidate who enjoys working in a small organisation with exciting growth plans, whilst working on your own initiative.
