As the Moodle Administrator for Aprende.com you will be responsible for ensuring our students continued success by enabling our organization to use all of the features and capabilities available within and outside of Moodle. You will work with key stakeholders on defining, analyzing, and prioritizing key initiatives to implement or configure. Some intiaities will require working with internal and/or external resources, others you will be able to execute on your own via declarative configuration. You will also be the main point-of-contact between our spanish speaking resources and our english speaking Moodle Partner who hosts our instance of Moodle. Ultimately, you should be an all around Moodle expert ready to break the boundaries of what is possible.

What you will be doing
You will report in to our Director of Product (LMS)
Administration of Moodle course and gradebook configuration
Support, communicate (ie. send student and organization updates) and oversee ongoing changes to the Moodle platform and work with our students, tutors and professors.
Determine opportunities to improve all aspects of the platform through configuration, existing plugins, and/or developing customizations.
Native and Intelliboard reporting to generate ongoing insights, a communication strategy and identify ways to improve the overall experience.
Provide as needed support to Management, Tutors, Professors and Students. Ideally you’re thinking of ways to document and either resolve ongoing issues or creating documentation to provide self service.
Acting as the primary liaison between our English-speaking US-based Moodle provider and our primarily Spanish-speaking teams in Mexico City and Bogota.
Spanish required, bilingual preferred (Spanish and English) but not a must- We have US, Mexico, and Colombia based teams
5+ years experience with LARGE Moodle implementations (5,000+ students) - You must be able to demonstrate EXPERT level experience and confidence working with Moodle
Strong understanding of Moodle reporting required
You will be confident in managing a variety of demands and changing priorities and be able to meet deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills will come naturally to you.
You will enjoy working in a team but also be able to show that when required you can work independently.
Moodle integration with Salesforce
Moodle integration with Intelliboard
Experience with multichannel support platforms such as Sparkcentral (Whatsapp is a primary channel of support for our students)
