Allegiant Airlines is accepting proposals to setup, configure, and integrate moodle as an internal LMS to be used for internal and regulatory training.

After having an initial meeting with all departments to consolidate system requirements for a companywide training system, the following list of minimal requirements have been created:

Requirements:

  • The training system must be accessible from secure web based access and support Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux browsers (Internet Explorer, and Fire Fox).
  • Bulk registration and auto registration form LDAP or Windows AD
  • Resource scheduling of Class rooms, Mockups, etc
  • Shared calendar
  • Scorm 1.2 support
  • Scheduling for Classes and tests with change management
    • Notify of new classe
    • Notify Instructor and student of class scheduling changes
  • Grades and report card tracking
  • Training recurrence scheduling
  • Support Custom and Canned Reporting
  • Streaming Media Support:
    • Audio formats
    • Video formats
    • Slide show
    • Recording video and audio of classes for playback and auditing

 Scope of Work:

  • Provide recommendations on the hardware needed for the project and the ability to scale if warranted.
  • Provide detailed project plan, including detailed task-list, timeline, and list of internal and external resources needed.
  • Install and configure the LMS/LCMS software
    Must have the ability to integrate with our internal system via our Web Services. 
  • Guide and assist the internal developers in the design and development needed to integrate your LMS/LCMS solution with Internal Systems.
  • Provide training and recommendations for administrator and power users training.
  • Recommend security provisioning (e.g. user groups, menu security, etc.). Must integrate to Windows AD or LDAP.
  • Provide Support documentation
  • Fulfill all requirements enumerated in subsequent Requirements

Request For Proposal Issued: November 22, 2011
Proposals Due: January 15, 2012 (NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM Pacific Time)
Target Date to Announce Finalists: 2/15/2012
