Job offered: Volunteer Moodle Support

Type: Part-time
Location: Leeds

This is a volunteer role to really add to our small training team at British Waterways:

At British Waterways we are currently developing the implementation of a Learning Content Management System (LCMS) – Moodle.  This is in the very early stages and as such we are looking for an individual with the background knowledge and creative spark to set us on the right road and help us set up the system to best meet the needs of the organisation.

This is a great time to get involved with British Waterways as we take the leap from the public to the third sector, helping secure a better future for the nations 2,200 miles of inland waterways. Your work will help shape our development at this vital stage as we move towards launching as the Canal & Rivers Trust later this year.

Through the role you will work closely with the Assistant Resourcing & Development Manager to help us make informed strategic decisions on the initial site configuration and support us setting up the system to help us effectively manage the site in the future.

Ideally we are looking for someone to volunteer 1 day per week, and this could be on an on-going basis.  Of course, as this is a voluntary role you are free to leave whenever you like, however, ideally a minimum commitment of 2 months will enable both you and us to gain the most benefit.
