A superb opportunity for PHP web developers with Moodle e-learning development experience to join the world’s leading private-sector education provider as Moodle Developer, based in lovely open-plan office in London.

This is a new role within the growing Moodle team, and will be responsible for development of Moodle applications for this innovative, entrepreneurial and truly international business.

You will deliver your projects in an Agile environment across the full lifecycle, with a focus on making applications really engaging and accessible for learners across the globe; the projects that are live and planned are some of the most complex and challenging in the world right now.

Object-oriented PHP coding skills proven across web projects are required, and experience developing across the LAMP stack - ideally with experience of frameworks such as Zend.  Most important is specific Moodle e-learning development experience, even if it is limited.

An outgoing personality and great communication skills are also very important, it’s a really vibrant team delivering some very exciting projects.  If you speak additional languages (Spanish, Italian, French, German etc) then this is also help, as many projects are based around teaching English as a foreign language.
