Moodle jobs

Calsoft Labs (http://www.calsoftlabs.com/) is looking for Moodle experts, to work in an LMS project. Ideal candidates must be able to thrive in an environment with Agile methodology, where all roles closely collaborate with one another in order to complete each unit of work.

Skills Summary: 

• 7+ years of solid experience in building web applications using the latest standards-based approaches 
• Hands-on experience in Moodle, PHP and Web 2.0
• 3+ years of experience in PHP and LAMP based frameworks
• 3+ years of solid experience with at least one Ajax/JavaScript framework. Experience with various JavaScript Frameworks (YUI, jQuery) is recommended
• Hands-on experience in OOPS concepts (including Interfaces, Serialization, Overloading, etc.) and MVC design pattern
• Good knowledge in MySQL and RDBMS concepts (normalization, indexes, triggers and procedures)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent

Key Accountabilities:

• Design, implement and unit test LMS code 
• Participate in the full SDLC, including meetings, iterative development, and design sessions
• Work with business analysts to understand and implement complex business functionality 
• Deliver project assignments on time, with high quality
• Stay current with the newest online technologies, and make recommendations on the new technologies for implementation
• Review technical specifications, specifically - identifying specific interfaces, methods, parameters, procedures or functions as required
