Some Salem educators are covering the miles for distance learning.

This week, Mike Sebolt and Dayna Wells will be heading to Louisa County to introduce a program called, "Moodle."

Moodle is free and allows educators to create online classrooms.  It was nearly two-months ago an earthquake hit the area.

The damage forced the school system to condemn several school and at this point, Louisa County middle and high school students are sharing a building.  Each group only attends school three-days a week.

"Moodle's going to give them an opportunity to maintain a consistency some communication, collaboration with their students even though they're not in the building, it still gives them that sense of class, that sense of achievement, a sense of what they can do, just like they were in the classroom," said Sebolt.
