Aardvark 1.1 Pro Modified

Minor changes only from Aardvark Theme Pro 1.1

This great theme was originally created by Shaun Daubney. The following very minor changes to Aardvark 1.1 Pro (Original) have been made by myself in an attempt to customise it for use on my Memorable Medicine website. I wanted to share this to demonstrate how simple customising a theme really is.

added keyword meta tags

changed to add copyrights, logos, bookmarking, donate button and google analytics

customised all the menus
switched the home icon link to a mobile icon link which winks into my MLE installation

/profileblock.php

<td width="300" changed to 600 in 2 instances to prevent profile block moving down when window width decreased

/aardvark_layout.css

changed max-width (from 960px to 1300px) and introduced a min-width (860px) to prevent menus from going onto the next line
added "float:right;" to .header-profileblock

This theme is a mix of elements from the Aardvark theme, some code from the automatic menu theme and CSS dropdowns by http://www.lwis.net/free-css-drop-down-menu

Previous problems with Internet Explorer have now been resolved.

This theme was using the joomla template rhuk_milkyway and the custom corners theme in order to fusion them to the edulabs.org green theme. So design credits go to rhuk and technology credits to Urs Hunkler.

It could be easy to offer this in different colors, so if you have free ressources go ahead.

IE6 is not yet supported, but all other browser should work fine.

Based on my previous "Alternatives" themeset.

This theme has a fixed width. To remove the fixed width, delete "max-width: 960px;" in aardvark_layout.css

Requirements

Moodle 1.9.5+ (Tested - other versions untested)
Firefox 3+, Safari 4+, IE7+ (others untested)
Standard Theme

Known Issues

Menu not compatible with IE6 or earlier
Main background colour and link colour not displaying in FF or Safari

Moved out of beta - A number of issues may still exist relating to appearance, however the theme has been extensively tested and is considered stable.
profilepic.php - Removed as it was no longer required.
footer.html - Added additional login and navigation controls to footer.
aardvark_color.css - "h2 .headingblock, .header" image changed to 50px height version

Beta 0.5 (Termite) - Released

Fixed some issues with header rendering in some browers
Moved to BETA, maybe still a couple of bugs and improvements, but generally stable.

Alpha 0.4 (Yeti) - Released

Hopefully fixed header login issues - untested except my build where it works
Replaced some missing icons from PIX folder

This theme will continue to be developed. If you like this theme and use it yourself, please let me know what types of modifications you make on the Moodle forums, I'd love to see them and maybe pinch some ideas for mine. Also always grateful to receive credit where credit's due.
