Course Re-enrolment (Course Report)

Course Report: Course Re-enrolment

This report provides a list of users who have accessed the course in the past but are no longed enrolled and allows them to be re-enrolled in the course.

This was to address the problem with the default admin setting that un-enrolled participants from a course after 120 days of inactivity. Ideally the setting should be changed if you want users to remain attached to a course even if they are no longer active ... but just in case you missed it this report should help.

I've listed it as 1.9 or later, but should work on 1.7 and 1.8 versions as well - I just haven't tested it on those versions.

Install instructions:

Download zip file
Unzip in course/report/
Visit the Notifications page of your moodle site

There will now be a new report listed in Course Administration > Reports

This Module is a mod of the original Message Module from Moodle (1.9.5). It only replaces
the frontend and makes no changes in the Database. There are only some aditional changes
in core, which changes the widht of the popup.

* Course send option for teachers/admins in send tab (with java auto completion)
* You can add a list of recipients in Send Tab

Introduction

This plugin is designed for courses involving programming assignments. It can automatically grade programming assignments. Use libsandbox to filter malicious program.

Now, it supports C/C++ and works for moodle 1.9.x in Linux only.

Features

The plugin inherents from uploadsingle assignment type. So it gets all its functions and has additional features such as:

Judge in several minutes after submitting. (Depends on admin settings)
Support multiply test cases.
Grade test cases separately. For example, there are four cases and max grade of each is 25. If one student pass three of them, he can get 75.
Teacher defined feedback/hint can be shown if someone doesn't pass the test.
Compile only mode.
Resubmit support. Allow to turn off.
More details (output and etc.) to teachers.

This is a very simple block that adds google search to moodle.

this plugin does not need any configuration its just plug and play.

To Install

Unzip 'simple_google.zip'
upload the 'simple_google' folder to the 'blocks' folder in you moodle installation.
then login to moodle and goto notifications, if you have done this correclty it should say that it has installed.

This report, created by The Open University, lets Administrators set up arbitrary SQL select queries that anyone with the appropriate permissions can then run. Reports can be set to be runnable on-demand, or automatically run weekly or monthly.

The results are displayed as a fairly plain HTML table, and can also be downloaded as CSV.

The idea is that this lets you quicly set up ad-hoc reports, without having to create a whole new admin report plugin.

I wanted to give our users an easier way of adding files to Moodle. As we felt the standard way of doing this in Moodle is confusing for users especially those with low IT skills.

This is an adapted version of the project format. Here are the changes I have made:

1. Simplified the functionality. Only the "add files and create links button" remains
2. Added a couple of line breaks so the edit directory name link is not confused with the edit summary button
3. Changed the way that a course looks in "show only one topic" view so that it matches the topic format.

We've had some really good feedback about this new method of adding files which is down to the excellent Project Course Format. I hope you find the stripped down version of this format as useful as our teachers have.

Important Notes:

When we trialled the Project Course Format we noticed a couple of points to be careful, especially when changing say from the topics format to the project format.

Directories : after changing to the project format, your links to files in each section will be moved into folders based on the number of the topic. This is a great bit of file management. HOWEVER: the project format will attempt to move any directories. It will update the links to new location (within the section folder) but will not actually move the folder. Which means you'll have to manually move the folder to the new location.

This is probably because you could have multiple links to the same folder on a course and it can't move it all the new locations. Its easy to fix, but caused us a lot of manual work when we changed most of our Moodle courses to the project format. Test it on a few courses with directories before you do do anything on mass would be my advice.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Unzip this package
2. Place the "project" folder into the course/format/ folder of your Moodle 1.9 program files
3. Place the "lang" folder and help files into the appropriate language folders of your moodledata directory
4. Go into a course where you have teacher or admin status. Click on "Course settings".
5. Change the course format to "project".
6. Turn "editing on" and you will see new icons appear.

Tested and working ok on Moodle versions: 1.9.4 & 1.9.5

A week based format that solves the issue of the 'Scroll of Death' when a course has many weeks. All weeks have a toggle that displays that week. The current week is displayed by default. One or more weeks can be displayed at any given time. Toggles are persistent on a per browser session per course basis. Full installation instructions and credits are included in the 'readme.txt' file.

Please use the links on the right. But note that the latest development version may be incompatible with your version of Moodle and could contain bugs.
