Hello Everyone,

The 2008 Moodle Moot in San Francisco is just two weeks away, and I have a couple of quick announcements as we finish preparations.

There have been a few minor changes to the schedule, and a new PDF has been posted at moodlemoot.org. In addition John Seely Brown will be joined by Martin Dougiamas and the Chief E-Learning Officer for Chicago Public Schools, Sharnell Jackson for a discussion during the second half of the Tuesday evening keynote. We are very excited for the opportunity to have the three of them discuss the future of E-Learning at the Moot.

Finally, the post conference tours have been canceled due to a lack of the necessary participation to hire a private courier. For those who did enroll in one of the offered tours, the enrollment fee has been returned. For anyone who is still interested in taking a tour of San Francisco or the bay area, there are several tour companies who provide tours daily. You can find many interesting options from one of the following providers:

http://www.allsanfranciscotours.com/
http://sanfranciscosightseeing.com/
http://www.sightseeingworld.com/sanfranciscotours.htm

As always, you can find more information and registration for the Moot at:

http://www.moodlemoot.org

and contact me directly at 202-329-5023 for any questions or concerns about the Moot. Thanks, we'll see you in June,

Another good site you can find good sightseeing information for part of the Bay Area (Sonoma County) is http://www.sonomauncorked.com/

(Full disclosure: I was hired to write a lot of the content on the above site. wink)
