Warning: Unresponsive script - Wiki issue

Our students are finding they can't edit wikis. They are reporting several different issues (which may or may not all be true wink) but there is one error I can vouch for.

When trying to save a wiki page, this comes up:

Sometimes they can hit continue and it will save, other times it does not. I have the same issue as an administrator when editing their wikis.

This might help too, the wiki's that have reported the trouble use a lot of tables and formatting. That's not to say they aren't all affected.

It happens regardless of browser or platform.

Our moodle is hosted on a windows 2003 box running apache and mysql. The moodle cron for windows is also in use.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'd really appreciate it.

Cheers,

If you couldn't change the php.ini file.

the solution is don't paste long MSword text or kill the format previously or paste in <TEXT> instead of <HTML> (buton <> toggle html and text) (before that it is recomended to change each paragraph break for </BR> -all the word processors have the replace function to do that easily-)
