I've been thinking about how to make a students choice more obvious - we've had a few users here use the choice, but then it's not always obvious which option they selected.

when the ability to update a choice is turned off, it displays to the user "your selection: " - I'm thinking about making this appear on the screen when updating is allowed, and they have already selected an option. - this should hopefully make it a bit more obvious to users when/what option they have selected.

does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Yes, your suggestion sounds fine to me. Many our students don't see what they selected, either.

This also fixed a bug, so it's now in 1.6 and also HEAD
