MP3 In Lessons- How To Help--URGENT PLS

Hi all,

I have tried to add MP 3 to my lessons after activiating the Multimedia filter.

I do not see the MP3 ICON for playing the same in the resource. I am making some mistake which I am not aware of.

Environment Windows 2000;   Moodle 1.5.3+

Look for help as to How to get the MP3 Working in A Lesson.

Thanks to all for this help which has held up the implementation.

Have you managed to get it working in any context? Is it just within a "lesson" that you're having problems, or across the whole Moodle site?

The filter works by looking for links which end in ".mp3" (for example). Have you created a link to an MP3 file?

For example, if I write a HTML link like this:

<a href="http://ia300841.eu.archive.org/1/items/A_Seductive_Cat_1/ASeductiveCat.mp3">random podcast about cats</a>

it becomes

Thanks for your reply.

I am having a problem accross Moodle as a whole.

It could possibly be something That I am doing wrong.

I tried the link as a resource The  Icon does not appear what I get is this

Resource MP3 HTML This gives no play / or pause buttons as above.

Within the resource I get nothing as suggested above.

I guess the method of calling up the MP3 Play is wrong.

Is there any additional plugin other than an activated Multimedia Filter?

Hope this infor helps in understanding what I am doing wrong.
