I see on the "Future" page that MyMoodle is scheduled for v1.7. Does that mean that there will also be - centralized - grades officially in Moodle for v1.6 or v1.7?

If not? Is there a schedule to formally implement centralized grades?

The administration at my school has requested an overall gradebook view (available perhaps on the front page -- e.g. a block) that would allow an admin to view a student's grades across all courses.
Is anyone working on such a feature, either as a block or as a gradebook enhancement (e.g., tab available to admins), or has anyone done work along these lines in the past?
