Rather than stating that "some are working in IE and some are working in FF" it would have been better to say exactly which video types work in which browser(s).

Also you should say which version of Moodle you are using.

Actually, the problem is not with Moodle but with the browser you are using. See e.g. http://caniuse.com/#search=video.

Here is my own modest contribution, using latest Moodle 2.1 version on Windows XP. It's quite irritating that, even in the latest version of HTML (5), not all browsers abide by the same conventions. On the whole Google Chrome seems the most compatible.
