Hi.
I've just installed Moodle 2.0.3
Everything works fine, except that when I try to upload a file, I always get this error message : File not specified
Can someone solve this problem ?
Richard
Hello.
You may've already done this, but I searched for "File not specified" at moodle.org, and found another thread that may have some partial answers: MOODLE 2.0 - Upload file problem. Check this out especially if you're using Internet Explorer.
Hi Richard,
If you are using IE, try using it in compatability mode, or else try using a different browser. Check this discussion for more.

Today I just faced this problem in a new installation. Amazingly enough, it was an IE (8 & 9) related problem! As mentioned above, both solutions work (compatibility mode and using FireFox).
Ok the problem is with the version of internet explorer 9.
In Mozilla works good.

FIX: If you are using IE8 or IE9, there is a split paper icon at the top right hand corner of explorer.
Click on the split paper icon and the page will refresh. Then you can upload any files.
Hope this helps!
