Table - add/edit rows & columns in Moodle 2.0

Table - add/edit rows & columns in Moodle 2.0

Hi,

I have just begun using Moodle 2.0 and am feeling a little restricted within the new HTML editor.

Previously in Moodle 1.9.9 I was able to expand the editor's toolbar to display more table-editing icons to add/delete rows, columns, etc.

Short of dropping into HTML mode I can see no option for editing the properties of a table in the new editor. The "full screen" toggle has the same toolbar.

Am I missing something obvious? How do I edit the properties of a table, and it's cells/rows/columns in Moodle 2.0?

Thanks,

Wax

Right click inside the table. See image for illustration. smile

Doh! Thanks so much!

In looking around other forums I noticed a plugin that has been written for Wordpress to provide an expanded toolbar, including table editing, for the TinyMCE editor.

Is such a thing available within Moodle?

Thanks,

W

Hehe - Sure - although this mouse right click is just as good as extra configuration. See for example http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=130470#p572795

Tables aren't easy in Moodle 2.x at all. Can it be made more functional? There doesn't seem to be a method of selecting all the cells in the table, and then adding more into it.
