Workshop

Hello Gustav & Ray,

I have been watching this thread with interest.  I will be writing some "science writing" lesson plans and the Workshop mod looks like one of the best tools with which to implement the plans. 

If one is looking at scaffolding, which I am, the following is important,

• Phases/Assesment Periods (with completion due dates) - with or without grades (just some indication a task was completed)
  
• Ability to determine the number of times (before final submission) there should be
  
  • Teacher - Student meetings, and/or
  • Student - Student meetings
  • Drafts
• Ability to determine a final grade via use of a Rubric.

For example,

• Week 1 - Students are given a task of reviewing a science article.
  
• Week 2 - Students are to submit an article for the Teacher to review to see if it fits the requirements.
• Week 3 - Students are to submit a draft for review.
• Week 4 - Student are to submit final review for assessment and grading.

Will the updated Workshop mod allow me to set up a lesson as outlined in the example above with the ability to give a grade as "completed"/"not completed" based on a student completing intermittent tasks within a certain time frame. 

Is the rubric still in the mod?
