Is there anyway to get either of the new gradebooks to work with Zbigniew's graphing code??  It is suppose to be in CVS presently.

Hi Michael & Jason!

I know you guys are busy.  I have asked this question before on another thread with no response.  So, I thought I would try again.  Please indicate if it is possible and/or an anticipated future feature to both or either of the two GradeBook2s.

Will either of the  new gradebooks work with Zbigniew's graphing code?? It was suppossedly placed in CVS by Zbigniew.  Examples of the grade graphs are located at the link below.

Zbigniew's graphing code was made only for assignments grades so it would need some adaptations to work with grades of others modules (in the case of gradebook_cdc or original gradebook) or with the centralized tables of gradebook_sfsu.

But either if you have original, cdc or sfsu gradebooks installed, you can as well install Zbigniew's code because there is no interference. Of course it will only pull grades from the assignments module not from others mods or gradebook.

Thank you for responding to my question.

From your explanation, it is clear I need to construct my question a bit differently.

Here goes,
I understand that Zbigniew's "Grade Graphs" [Examples are located at a post HERE.] only works with the assignment module.  I also understand that the code he placed in CVS will work with either of the Gradebook2s installed.
 
QUESTION:  Is it possible to get all the graded activities [along with Assignments] to work with Zbigniew's graphing code??  
 
It would also be nice if
  • the resulting (Graph) page is printable.
  • the option to show the page is an Admin and/or Teacher option.
Mygradebook.com [http://http://www.mygradebook.com/default.cfm?] offers a similar function which can be optionally turned off or on by the Teacher of a class.  When parents or students sign it they can see it if the teacher opts to turn it on.  It allows parents and students to see where a student is in relation to the rest of the class.  Zbigniew's is better because you can see the graph and get the statistics for each assignment. 

I think it is a good feature to have especially as the "MyMoodle" page evolves to consider including it somehow.

Hi Zbigniew,

Would it take a large amount of coding work to incorporate your "Grade distribution statistics and Graphing" into either GradeBook 2 so it would be part of v1.5 or v2 final when released?
