Enabling ratings in glossaries in my 1.8.9 moodle site always returns the same error, bioth with standard and custom scales (which seem to work correctly when applied to forums). this is the error message:

No clue. Help appreciated.

that should be fixed in next weekly build of Moodle 1.8 (there was one recently introduced regression there).
