I've seen a bit of LAMS, it seems to be soundly based pedagogically and has some kind of drag and drop interface for creating courses which looks great on the usability front. However, they seem to be only going OS in a limited way (and not till Feb next year), I'd be interested to hear what those with more knowledge think about the way they are adopting OS.
