Hello Moodlers,

in the quiz results overview there is a column for "raw score" and one for "grade". Does anybody know what the differences are? For my Junit-question-type for example it looks like on the following screenshot.
I couldn't find any documentation on this - maybe someone found?

The difference is clearer if you have a non-zero penalty on your question.

The raw score is the score you would get before penalties are applied.

The Grade is the score including penalties, except that it never decreases, so if on a previous try you got a higher score, that is used instead on the new lower score.

Thanks for the clear reply! I thought it should have to do something with the penalties - now I know for sure and how it actually works! smile
