Hi everyone... i'm currently working on a cloze code generator. Take a look at http://root.goltergaul.de/moodle/cloze_generator.html to test what i've done yet. But be aware, it's in german ;)

Interesting as this releases the user of knowing the Cloze coding.
Perhaps you should keep it as a question generator and the user will copy and paste the result at the convenient place in the complete cloze text.

Interesting, but why can't the user choose their question type? Your generator only offers MULTICHOICE question type.

Eventually, if you agree, this could be added to Moodle code either directly in the multianswer_edit_form.php or as a pop-up window.

unfortunately there are some problems with the script if you run it with internet explorer. ill investigate that further and upload it to you issue.
But tomorrow im going on vacation for the next two 2weeks, so me will neighter have time to work on it...

The generator could be accessible through a link generating a pop-up window just under the question text editor as shown here.

Cody, looks like it's still available in the tracker issue (http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-16154) mentioned above. There's an attachment called clozegen.zip.
