I have been very intrested in this module, however when i go to install the module each item will say success but when it gets to the bottom it says the installation has been unsuccessful, when i press continue it has not installed the module but if i try to install the module again it says it is install, can you give me any advice to why the installation would have failed with no error messages?

We are running the latest build of 1.7.

My school district is extremeley interested in this module.  I downloaded it and thought I followed the directions but nothing seems to hapen when I run the admin notifications.  Hopefully someone can help me out.  Here is what I did. 

1.  I unzipped the folder

2.  I placed the Access_Control, portfolio, portfolio patches, and repository directories directly under the moodle directory.  C:\moodle\moodle\directory_name

In the unzipped directory where the directions are it says to put the filder in the main moodle directory as well.  I don't see a directory named filter.  am I missing something?  any help would be appreciated.

I installed SPDC Portfolio module on Windows by reading and doing next instructions:

1. Copy portfolio folders and files to moodle folder

2. Go to url http://localhost/access_control for install (as admin)

3. Go to url http://localhost/portfolio for permissions

4. Go to url http://localhost and add Portfolio block

For me it was an easy process I hope for you too

I have tried to install SPDC on 1.9 Beta 2 but am having no luck when it goes to upgrade php I get a string of mysql table errors

I have just installed on 1.8.3

I went to /portfolio and installed without warnings.

Then. I could set access_control correctly, but now in /portfolio I get:

Warning: reset() [function.reset]: Passed variable is not an array or object in D:\apache2\htdocs\aisme\lib\dmllib.php on line 375

(Where D:\apache2\htdocs\aisme is my moodle directory

Portfolio doesn't comes out in the block administration or in the block add menu.

Does anyone know if SPDC Portfolio can be installed on Windows using MSSQL instead of MYSQL?  When I try to install it I get:

Unsupported database type. (mssql_n)

Which I assume is because we're running MSSQL.  Any advice other than switching to MYSQL or POSTGRE?
