Please post questions in the Certificate forum, or post problems to the tracker.

Yes, it includes two unicode certificate types.

I've commented on your tracker issue Howard.

You MUST choose a unicode certificate type for character languages. If that does not work, you may need to create a new font for your language and put it in the tcpdf library font folder. See this post: http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=45370&parent=343904

I have been checking the forums and MoodleDocs and it is still not clear to me whether or not a certificate with custom text can be created for different courses. For example, I have some courses that will need specific text, but other courses will require their own text. As far as I can tell, if the code strings are changed in the certficate.php file, that will affect the certificate text as a site-wide level. In other words, is it possible to create multiple certificates with different text?

Please advise or direct me to forums or resources that do address this question.

Many thanks.

Please post questions to the Certificate forum (click on the Dicussion link above).
Before posting questions, please read the Certificate documentation (click on Documentation link above).

Yes, Bob, you can create as many custom certificates as you like by creating a new certificate type and then choosing that type when you add a certificate to a course. See the customizing section of the docs.

I have problems with the certificate. When a student achieves 100% the certificate just don't download, a message apears "you don't comply with the minimum (75%). Just in these cases.

I use a condition "Course calificartion: 75%"

Hi,

Thank you for this module.  For your 1.9 version, you mention the site-wide certificate function.  In your documentation, it says there is a my_certifcates block to install, but for the life of me, I can't seem to find it.

Can you please provide me instructions on how to install this add-on?  Many thanks!

THIS IS HAPPY ME

Hi. I strongly recommend that this module be patched to allow new signatures be added to moodledata/mod/certificate/pis/signatures/ or similar. And NOT in the mod codebase itself.

Hello.  I LOVE the certificate module!  But I would like to request a couple of tweaks that would make it more amazing than it already is.

I teach high school and my students do on line Moodle courses that parallel what we do in class.  When they finish a course they get a certificate.  They LOVE this!!  Not only because it gives them a sense of accomplishment, but it helps them know if they have truly completed a course (because I link the certificate to the activities in a course).  Here lies the problem I'm having that I hope you can help with.

Currently you can link assignments and quizzes and lessons to a certificate.  But as my courses (and many other people's courses) use ALL the activities Moodle has to offer, it would be REALLY helpful to me AND more helpful to the students, if these certificates could also be linked to the other activities in Moodle (choice, database, feedback, forum, glossary, hot potatoes quiz, and wiki).

Again, I love this module and hope you can help us better use your module!!!

Thanks!!!

We are attempting to use this module to show completion of a substitute teacher training course. Unfortunately, we don't have the user information before they complete the course (they go in as a guest) and we're not sure we want to open up email registration to our Moodle site. Is there any way to have the user type in their name and have that be used in the name space?

FYI: "receiving" is spell wrong (receving) in the current default English lang file for this.

Other than that, looks good.

Hi!

I don't know if it's possible, but I would like that my students don't do tests, they would be approved when they complete viewing all the topics in a course.

After viewing all the topics in a course the students would be able to print their certificates.

Is it possible?

Preciso que os alunos sejam aprovados depois que terminarem de ver todos os tópicos de um curso, tem como?
